Since school Ty’s passion for helping people through their health & fitness has been the driving force behind his success in the industry.

With a career focused on helping people and putting his clients first it has allowed him to reach some fantastic accolades including many national awards for his study, business success as well as commitment to the Australian Health & Fitness industry, Ty is certainly an industry leader.

Ty has recently sold 2 Franchised Facilities to open and grow The Urban Fitness Club brand to be a strong independent facility where you feel part of a community that cares rather than just another number.

Listening to our members is a key to success so with this in mind The Urban Fitness Club focus on delivering an affordable, friendly environment where staff are trained to know you, your ability and what’s important to you not just your name!

Dan Hayes (Club Manager)

After graduating in 2010 with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sport Science and Sport Management, Daniel moved to London where he ran a successful Personal Training Studio for two years.

He returned with a view to move into the management side of the industry and started with The Urban Fitness Club in November 2012 as a Sales Manager.

He took over as Club Manager in July 2013 and is looking forward to making The Urban Fitness Club Blackburn’s premier health and fitness facility.

Ashlee Chandler (Personal Trainer/ Fitness Instructor)

After completing her Cert III & IV in Fitness in 2011, Ashlee began working at a Boot camps facility, where she found her passion for functional training and went on to complete her certification as a Boot Camp Instructor.

She has since been involved with both indoor and outdoor training, both with groups and 1 on 1. In 2013, Ashlee headed to New York where she spent the summer working in a Gym at a Summer Camp. Now back in Australia, Ashlee is excited to resume her career at The Urban Fitness Club and share her knowledge of fitness, helping members to achieve their health and fitness goals in an enjoyable way.

She is also returning to study in the New Year, completing a Bachelor of Naturopathy.

Sean Stokes

Sean is a keen AFL footballer and has an interest in Sport & Exercise since a young age, Having completed both his Cert 3 & 4 in Fitness & Perosnal Training Sean has a fantastic knowledge base and experience with helping clients reach their health and fitness goals.

Sean is also currently studying a Bachelor of Sports and Exercise Science to further his knowledge and provide his clients with the absolute most up to date science based information.
